Faith Rawson (born 1997 in St.Paul, Minnesota) is an electronic composer, audio engineer, violinist and radio show host at KCHUNG Chinatown Station. With a fascination for live broadcasting and complex speaker configurations, she is known for quick percusive sounds and evolving ambient soundscapes. In the past five years, her work has branched out in many directions, including immersive installations, field recording, electronics and large experimental ensembles. In January of 2024, she attended the Firehouse Residency in Joshua Tree California where she conducted a movement-based experimental electrtonic ensemble soley comprised of professional dancers, known as the Firehouse Ensemble, with original choreography by Eloise DeLuca. Rawson has performed live in Los Angeles at Human Resources, Automata, Coaxial, South Willard Gallery, and the Roy O Disney Concert Hall. She has been included in The Dog Star Orchestra Festival in 2025 and Sound P.U.S.H Festival in 2024 as well as performed in many local Pasadena and Santa Clarita community events. Rawson received her BFA in New Genres from the San Francisco Art Institute in 2019 and her MFA in Experimental Practices from CalArts in 2025.
